A Guide to Japan’s Friendly Limousine Bus Narita to Haneda Shuttle Transfer

I’ve been waiting for forever to do this guide for the Limousine Bus Shuttles at Narita and Haneda airport. The only way for me to do this was to literally fly into Japan, an expensive feat.

Luckily I had a recent trip to Manila this March and my All Nippon Airways route gave me an option to do a long layover in Tokyo and do a airport transfer from Narita to Haneda.  Grabbed the opportunity to document step by step my first time use of the Friendly Airport Limousine shuttle from Narita Airport to Haneda. First Fashion Review: Ebay Korean Style Top

korean-style-review

Website look vs. actual for Korean Style Top from Ebay

I’ve always envied those Korean style and Japanese style tops and dresses that I would see from sites like Ebay, SheIn, Aliexpress and many more wholesale priced fashion sites from China.

I was hesitant to buy anything because China made fashion products are known to be at least 2 sizes smalled than thier US and UK counterparts.
Here in the US I would normally be an XL or size 14 (Old Navy and Target sizes). I’m little bit on the chubby/muffy size with a 41 inch or rather B Cup chest which makes finding a top for myself rather akward, moreso if its one of those Asian style fashions. I was also worried about the horror stories I  read and see in blog and youtube shopping haul sites where what they bought is not the same quality as what they saw online.

However with the cheap prices, free shipping and a promise of a plus size selections, I decided to take a leap of faith and buy a cute heart printed top. Here is my review along with a Youtube video version. Continue reading

Book Off San Diego- Buy, Sell and Trade books and electronics

Book Off Used Book Store located in Kearny Mesa Rd. San Diego, CA

I love manga and Anime. I also love to read various books like Harry Potter, the original Grim Fairly tales, Secret Garden and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

I am also hilariously broke at the same time my home can be cluttered with old but gently used books, dvds and games that I no longer need.
Great thing there is Book Off. A buy sell and trade store located in Kearny Mesa ROad in San Diego where you can bring all your used books, old but still working electronics to exchange for cash. They also sell DVD’s, video games both old and news as well as electronic devices like iPads, Playstation, Nintendo 3Ds and XBox consoles.

Jackery Giant Power Bank Reviews

Jackery Giant Power Bank Unboxing from Amazon

Jackery Giant Power Bank Unboxing from Amazon

When travelling one of the most important thing to have is connectivity. Connectivity to post updates in Facebook, update your Twitter feeds, maybe upload some pictures via Instagram, Tumblr or Flickr.  And connectivity need power.  Unfortunately most smartphone batteries really run about 6-7 hours a day with constant use.
If you are like me, when I travel, I mainly use my iPhone 5S as my MP3 player, camera and Facebook status updater…for the pictures I take. And normally i can deplete a fully charge phone with in 6 hours of constant use.

In a few weeks I will be traveling to the Philippines and Japan and my preparation mode has kicked into high gear.
For days I have been scouring Amazon and Gadget sites for an affordable external power bank.
If I had it my way I would have gotten myself a GoPlug bag. But since they are still on Kickstarter phase, that purchase would have to wait. So BTW please pledge to GoPlug power bags. it is truly worth it.

I was sold on getting an Anker® 2nd Gen Astro E3 10000mAh for $30.00  or an EasyAcc® 10000mAh Brilliant Ultra Slim Dual USB   for $27.00 when I came upon the Jackery Giant Portable Charger.
My IT manager who is my goto to all Gadget and Geekery advice (Thank You Craig!) told me that when getting portable backup batteries you also need to value in the charging speed. I need to look for anything that is 2Amps  to 3 Amps. And how I found the Jackery Giant Continue reading

Road to E3: Final day and review

E3 2014 Exhibit hall

E3 2014 Exhibit hall

We got home after day 3 of E3 expo at 2AM Friday morning in San Diego. Me and my friends and colleagues crashed at my small 2 bedroom apartment. I had no time to do my day 3 post since I had work 6 hours later so we all slept.

Fast forward now, we only spent 5 hours on the last day of E3. My sponsors tried to get as much swag they can get from booths and tried out the Disney Infinity line that was giving away the free figurines.

I was able to walk more of the South Exhibit Hall and take pictures of areas I didn’t get to do the day before.  And after a long day me and my colleagues decided to do a recap of our 3 day adventure. Continue reading

GoPlug Power Bags , Everpurse and Mighty Purse

In an era where connectivity, efficiency and having power to go in a small handy pack is a necessity these several bag and storage products are a must when it comes keeping your handy devices and laptops on top of their charge.

Go Plug Power Bags

Thanks to a website called DudeIWantThat  I was able to stumble upon this stylish and durable bag called the GoPlug Power bag.

Created by Josh Cross, these bags have a reversable charing outlet and the bag is waterproof. Their Kickstarter Page showcases a mini pack , a back pack and computer bag designs, depending on the user needs. Priced below $130 for early bird buyers, these bags are being sold out FAST.   Josh have about 5 patents on the design as so no other company would copy it. And I have to say, I really like the camera bag.  Their most popular line to date is their GoPlug Backpack

I already started saving up for the $159.00 deal value which will end once their Kickstarter target date ends.

Everpurse

For us ladies that don’t want the bulky feel and concept of carrying around a backpack just to charge say your smartphone or mp3 player. Or maybe you have a long business seminar and you need to dress and accessorize accordingly but still need to keep your phone charged, then perhaps Everpurse is for you.

The Everpurse Mini looks like an stylish clutch purse or wallet. According to the product website, the clasp doubles as a USB plug that allows to charge your iPhone 5 or 5s up to 48 hours of battery life.  For a limited time they are offering the purse for $98.00 + tax and shipping  (original price is $129.00) which is cheaper than your average luxury brand wallets.  Everpurse comes in 3 colors, Gold, Teal and Black.

There are some dealbreaker cons though to the ever purse.

*It acts as a phone case for your iPhone 5/ 5s. It will not fit any existing iphone with a case
*It only charges for iPhone 5/5s

Mighty Purse

There is an alternative purse charger called Mighty Purse which looks like the size of a Michael Kors clutch wallet which can fit a Samsung Note.  The built in lithium battery carries a 4000mAH  charge which is good for at least 1.5-2 charges worth.

Handbag Butler currently sells the purses at $99.99  but Amazon and other sites may sell them as low as $69-79.00 and comes in 12 stylish colors
