Before I start my post. I just want to say. Keep February 8th 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM in your calendar.
For many hardcore Comic Con attendee’s February is around the time of the year that PreRegistration for Comic Con begins. And this year Epic Reg – the company that manages the Badge purchase for Comic Con San Diego “promises” a easier way to manage and “improve” the online registration for badge purchase…which somehow gets complicated every year anyway.
The rules changes every year and this year is no exception.
For those who attended last 2013 San Diego Comic Con, you may have remembered Epic Reg saying that you need to keep your badge to enable you to purchase the 2014 badge.
Many of you should have gotten an email by now from Comic Con sending you a link to http://landing.cloudapp.net/ along with your Comic Con pre Registration code.
Better to save that link into your favorites and a copy paste version of the very long registration code. And an important reminder that USING MULTIPLE PC’s to Log in the same account may NOT Work in your favor as the registration will only lock into one computer.
On Saturday Feb 8, The Badge PreRegesitration begins at 7:00 AM – This is a waiting page for the REAL Badge Purchase at 9:00 AM
Basically you need to wait in line at 7:00 AM so that you have a spot to wait in line at 9:00 AM….and it STILL does not guarantee you a spot/chance to purchase your badge if you are not fast enough to access the pages in the first few seconds/minutes of 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
So speed and efficiency is the key. And keeping those links in your favorites/shortcut will help with that. You also may want to check your Comic Con Account in case you never received your Badge PreRegistration information to retrieve your code (or make sure that your password is still working)
