Affordable and Fastest way to Air Mail Iphones and Electronics from US to the Philippines via LBC Air Cargo

I forgot to make this post a few months ago when I did the Youtube video guide in shipping from US to the Philippines electronic devices such as smartphones, laptops, tablets and even computer accessories.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. The most affordable way to do this is via LBC’s Air Cargo mail. And when I mean affordable. I mean HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS Less than Fedex and UPS.  Plus, if it’s arriving in Manila, your family gets it in 5-7 days.

LBC Pouch fee was $20 . Iphone Tax was $30. Total shipping charge for everything = $50. I did not ship my Nintendo switch haha

There are some requirements. You can only send 2 electronic items at a time.

Each electronic you pay the electronic shipping tax fee on top of your shipping fee- which is not expensive. The etax fee is the same on the product regardless if new or old.

  • An iPhone and Ipad is about $30 etax fee
  • A laptop is about $30-40 etax fee.

A small size box under 5 pounds to ship to Manila is about  $42 dollars (as of January 2022 update) so if you do the math and want to send a laptop to the PH you are paying  $75-ish dollars including the tax.

Some smaller electronic items will not be charged. Stuff like charging cables, wired earphones or a USB flash drives will be considered are just your regular parcel items.

Tracking is easy. Once you drop off the item in LBC, you are given a tracking number which you can track on the LBC Express website or LBC app.

Best of all, your family or friend receiving the package does not need to pay LBC any receiving or delivery fee- you already prepaid for it. But I still highly suggest to tip the driver!

So there you have it. Easy breezy and affordable way to ship electronics to the Philippines from US to the PH.

Air Delivery of Ghost Pepper Sauce from California to Davao City, Philippines via LBC.

I often post blog articles on sending balikbayan boxes from California to the Philippines. In the last 3 years. I have been using LBC for their fast and reliable air mail services.

The most common question and request I got is how to and how much it is to ship to places other than Manila.

For this I have recruited a good friend and colleague of mine from Davao -Mr. Don, to help me out with a Vlog experiment. I shipped him a 6 pound or 2.7 Kg box of assorted spices and a surprise Ghost Pepper Sauce for him, as a way to track how fast does it ship via airmail from California to Davao City.

List of spices I sent to Don in Davao

$15 LBC Airmail Delivery US to Manila during COVID – Review & Guide with Electronic shipping guide

It’s another LBC Padala update. It seems now I sound like a major promoter of LBC due to how many posts I made on this company. But given the how close I live to one and it’s the only affordable, and I MEAN AFFORDABLE air delivery option I have for US to Philippines, especially during these difficult times amid COVID. Plus they offer a really good rate to mail electronics such as iPhones and laptops as long a you pay the E-Tax fee

The update today is the $15 LBC air pouch I sent to Manila. Normally the starting price of the pouch is $10 at 1 pound or .45 kg. But Since I went over the weight, I paid the extra $5 fee per pound fee. The container is a plastic pouch about 12×15″ in size.

Today I’m doing a review on their LBC Air Packet service which promises 4-7 day business time delivery. Continue reading
